Liza Grundy

Owner

Liza has been dancing for as long as she can remember. Her true inspiration began with Janet Jackson. However, over the years she has trained extensively in ballet, modern, and jazz disciplines. Her ballet training began with Mr. Victor Wesley at the Academy of the Dance in Wilmington, DE. During her senior year of high school she understudied the well renowned hip hop dance company Rennie Harris Puremovement. Her training continued after she received a dance scholarship to attend Adelphi University, in Garden City, NY. At Adelphi she studied Horton style modern with Carmen DeLavellade of Alvin Ailley, and Regina Larkin of the Joyce Trisler Dance Company. In addition to her modern training she also studied ballet with Rebecca Wright of American Ballet Theater, and with Full Circle Productions a “breakin” dance group out of the Bronx under the direction of Quickstep and Rocafella. With full circle she made appearances at Broadway Dance Center, and Rutgers University. Other appearances include music videos for the rap group NAAM based out of Philadelphia, and a Def Jam Comedy music video in Beverly Hills, starring Mike Epps, appearing on BET. Liza has been teaching dance for the past 20 years, 8 of which she spent teaching throughout the mainline area.  In addition Liza obtained her BS in Business Administration from Albright College.  In her “spare” time she enjoys raising her three boys, Aiden (18), Benjamin (14), Blake (5) and spending time with her husband Albert.

Brian Frazier

Hip Hop & Breakin'

After studying martial arts for about 9 years, Brian Blaze of Harrisburg PA, took what he thought was a break from martial arts to explore an interest in dance. He never looked back again. Brian became enamored by the bboy culture in his hometown. It was full of dancers, talent and potential but the scene died down with nobody to teach him and no money or opportunities. That didn't stop Brian, he instead spent hours everyday studying on YouTube with diligent training till he was noticed by E.Moncell who took him under his wings and further molded him into the dancer he is today. Through his perseverance he has had the opportunity to be a Jacob's Pillow alumnae, a member of the well known dance company, Hood Nation and the thought provoking dance company, Lakaï Dance Theatre under the tutelage of McKersin Previlus.
